Mr. N64's Summary of Mace: The Dark Age's Story and Play Mechanics

Story:

Basically, there's an evil guy with an all-powerfull mace. The characters in the game want to win this mace in combat and steal this evil guy's power.


Play mechanics:

Mace is yet another 3-D fighter. The play modes and default controls are as follows:

Play Mode Description
Arcade Fight your way to the Mace. One-player only.
Practice Pick a character and practice on a dummy.
Vs. There is no dedicated 2-player mode. However, a second player can join for a single bout by pressing start while player one begins a game.

Button Action
D-pad/Control Stick Move and jump.
A, B Quick Attack.
Left C, Bottom C Strong Attack.
Top C, Right C Kick.
L, Z, R Evade.
