Play Mode Description
Exhibition 1-4 player cooperative or vs. play.
Playoffs 1-4 player cooperative or vs. play in a Playoff season.
All-Star 1-4 player cooperative or vs. play with customized teams consisting of individual players from the game.
Season 1-4 player cooperative or vs. play through a whole season

Button Action
Control Stick Move
A Offense: Pass (B+A=jump pass).
Defense: Steal or intercept the ball.
B Offense: Press to jump, release to shoot (B+Left C = fake shot)
Defense: Block a shot.
Top C Offense: Pivot.
Bottom C Control Stick+Bottom C: Drive.
Right C Defense: Change to player closest to the ball (press the Control Stick+Right C to change to a player in the direction of the Control Stick)
Left C Offense: Fake pass.
Defense: Pass intercept.
Z Offense: Power dribble
Defense: Run backwards (press Control Stick in the direction opposite the direction your player is facing)
Start Pause.
