A sadly true story of an inflated ego hitting the harsh reality of the job market.
The Stefan Saga started out in 1985(?) as Kevin Ekstrom's creative writing assignment for Dr. Tadie's Lit 210 class at Seattle University. Kevin left the first three or four lines of the story on the screen of his IBM PC Junior and went to lunch. When he returned, he found several paragraphs of drivel that were unsuitable for the class assignment, but more interesting than he had planned. In 1988, the story was converted from the PC Junior to an MS Word format on a MacIntosh SE in the back room of a ComputerLand in Bothell, Washington. It eventually migrated back to a PC in Minneapolis and is now available here. Several people have contributed, and the ever-changing tapestry has become stranger and stranger. If you would like to contribute, make a copy, edit your heart out, and send me the result. We hope that Kevin will eventually graduate.
