This week's theme: The Lost Swezey Tapes

Okay, they weren't really lost, that just sounds more dramatic.

Back in 1977, a friend of mine suggested I should have a 78's party on New 
Year's day 1978.

Seemed like a good idea so I put together several reels of my favorite 78s. 
(Remember reel-to-reel tape recorders?)

Well, I still have those tapes and transferred them to my computer a while 
back.

Tapes tend to fade some over the years, on the other hand it captured the 
records nearly 40 years ago when they were only 30 years old not 70. So it's 
a trade off.

Anyway, I picked three songs from those tapes.

You might remember that Campbell's soup used this song in it's ads "Give Me 
The Campbell Life" from 1969–75.
