I don't know what reminded me of this old, I mean REALLY old, joke (it was already REALLY old when I first heard it :-)

There used to be a show back in the 1950s called the "Ted Mack Amateur Hour", where ordinary, non-professional, amateur acts could perform on live TV.

Kind of like American Idol or America's Got Talent.

Anyway, here's the joke:

An agent comes to Ted Mack and says: 

"I've got a really incredible act, I know you'll love it, this guy 'sings' out his butt".

"He has incredible control and he can make the passing gas sound just like Caruso".

Ted Mack says, "Gee, I don't know, that sounds kind of rude."

"No really, it's incredible, he has an absolutely beautiful voice, trust me, you'll love it."

"Well, okay. We do need another act this week".

So anyway, the night of the show, the guy walks out on stage, drops this trousers and takes a dump (poops), right there on live TV.

In horror Ted Mack runs out and shouts "CUT! - Stop the show! - What do you think you're doing? - I thought you were going to 'SING' out your backside!"

And the guy says, "Well, I had to clear my throat".
