I see in the news where Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Clarence Thomas is in a lot of trouble over accepting gifts from billionaire Harlan Crow in the form of luxury vacations, valued at $500,000 each, every year for the last 20 years ($10 MILLION), as well as free use of his private jet and who knows what else.

Thomas never reported any of this claiming he didn't think he had to.

I've got good friends that I'm very happy with, but let's face it NONE of those cheapskates ever invited ME to go on a $500,000 vacation with them, or use their private jet either for that matter.

Okay, to be fair, I never invited THEM to go on $500,000 vacation with ME either, or use my private jet, but that's beside the point.

I'd like to go scuba diving off Indonesia on a multi-million dollar private super yacht, just like Thomas did, or have the use of a private jet, so why not me? 

Hey, I'm open to being bribed - but nobody thinks I have anything worth bribing me for.

Actually, I think they're right - I don't. 

Life is so unfair :-)

Oh well, at least I still have my good friends - (or I used to until they find out I just called them cheapskates :-)

Maybe they'll at least take me ice fishing sometime.

Wait - I don't want to go ice fishing.
