Todays theme: Silly Christmas Songs

It's weird to me, but I don't have ANY "silly" Christmas songs until after 
WWII.
This song is one of my favorites.

No other song so truly captures the real meaning and spirit of ...
Okay - it's just plain silly :-)

Christmas is a time to think back and remember all those years gone bye.
And what comes to mind more than old cigarette ads?

"Smoke'um if you've got'em".

Lucky Strike used to use the catch phrase:
"L.S./M.F.T. - Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco".

There used to be a parody/joke version:
"L.S./M.F.T. - Leaky Safes Means Fat Tummies".

A "Safe" was slang for a condom
and "Fat Tummy" means pregnant, I guess.

That joke is REALLY old :-)
