Start Point: 
  Syttende Mai Hus (log cabin) in Viking Memorial Park on Main Street
  which is Minnesota Highway 444, in Spring Grove.
Start/Finish Times: 
 Start between 7 AM and 2 PM; finish by 5 PM
Distance: 
  10K, slightly difficult, not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
  90 year olds in good physical condition have completed it other years.
Trail Rating/Description: 
  The trail being with three blocks of village street.
  It then goes through farm pasturs and catheral-like forests, 
  past streams, and through wild flower carpets and back to the village.
  Pets on a leash are allowed, although they might scare away
  wild turkeys and other fauna. Flora are identified with signs and
  correlate to a preinted guide. Boy and Girls schouts may get credit
  provided that they prearrange it with their leaders.

Awards/Fees: 
  Locally made, depicting the USA with Minnesota in the foreground.
  A award is $6.
  B awards from previous years medals are available.
  A and B award fees include event and distance credit.
  Credit only fees are $3.  Without AVA credit, fees are $2.
Directions: 
  Spring Grove is located on southeastern Minnesota on Minnesota Highway 44.
  It is south of I90, southeast of Rochester, and southwest of La Crosse.
