Twin Cities SIGAda presents: UDLP Job Fair Wed., July 17, 1996 1:00 PM till 8:00 PM and at 6:00 PM a presentation by Grady Booch Sheraton Metrodome Minneapolis, Minnesota United Defense Limited Partnership (UDLP) has been selected as the prime contractor for Crusader, the Army's next generation self-propelled howitzer. Crusader will be a key component in a digitized Army Force XXI structure. UDLP is seeking qualified professionals at all experience levels in the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Quality Assurance and Software Configuration Management. Technical representatives from the above disciplines as well as personnel from the United States Army will be on hand to talk with prospective candidates and answer questions. A featured attraction of this event is a presentation and Q&A session with Grady Booch, Chief Scientist at Rational Software Corporation. Mr. Booch has pioneered the development of object-oriented analysis and design methods and will talk on OEngineering Large Object-Oriented SystemsO. His presentation will cover modern software engineering practices, including the use of Ada95. Other attractions of the UDLP job fair include a hands-on exhibit of the Crusader Crew Module Demonstrator as well as an interactive visual simulation of the overall Crusader concept as it exists today. The Sheraton Metrodome (formerly Minneapolis Hilton) is located on Interstate 35W and Industrial Blvd. - approximately 2 miles north of downtown Minneapolis. Parking is free.
