The mission and purpose of the Minority Issues in Evaluation TIG is twofold:

1) to raise the level of discourse on the role of people of color in the improvement of the theory, practice, and methods of evaluation, and

2) to increase the participation of members of racial and ethnic minority groups in the evaluation profession.
