This is the release version of RDCP+/Mac. There are separate downloads for MacOS X and Classic MacOS!

RDCP+/Mac is shareware. The registration fee is $30.00 (USD).
Registration is possible using PayPal

This version adds MacLoggerDX support as a logging helper and call sign lookup.  The help and documentation files are updated to include this change.  That help and info file is also available here .

• Opening a window (such as the Connect window/dialog) will cause the last Stream window to lose its focus. Fixed.
• Helpers now launch on application startup, if that option is selected in the Helpers setup.
• Some duplicate Command key shortcuts changed/removed.
• Fixed the short date/time display and transmit.
• Fixed several font size/color/justification problems.
• Fixed dynamic menu updates which involved the station's callsign.

The below applies only if your existing RDCP+/Mac version is 2.0.1d16

If this is an update from the earlier version, you may copy the folders "RDCP Files", "Mail Folder", and any other folders you created from your OLD version to the NEW version folder. Do NOT copy the "Helper Files" folder! This will maintain your preferences and any other items.

RDCP Log notes...

We had to change the creator code for the "RDCP Log (MacOS X)" application. Consequently if you are using that logging application you will need to import data into this new version from your old copy. If you added countries to the "Countries" database, you will also need to import from your old version.

The procedure would be to open your old "RDCP Log (OS X)" application and under the records menu select "Show All Records" (or hit Command-J). Then under the Window menu select the "Countries" database and again "Show All Records". Quit the application. Then open the new "RDCP Log (MacOS X)" application and select "Import Records" from the File menu. Find your old version and select "Log Book". Hit Open and select "Matching Names" and "Add New Records". Hit "Import".

Do the same with the "Countries" database.

These files are located in the "Helper Files" folder.

Advise if you have problems and we will try to help.

Again if you are using the "RDCP Log (MacOS X)" for logging, once you start the application you will need to go to the "Helpers/Logging..." item in the Edit menu, select another logging option and then select the "RDCP Log" radio button. Check the "Launch on Startup" and the "Auto Log Entry" if desired and click OK. This will reset the creator code and other items in your preferences.

Known bugs and other comments.

Mailer:

• Will not get (download) mail from any service.
• Does send FBB v0 and v1 mail (compressed)
• Will not send nor receive FBB v2 (known as WinLink 2000) mail.

Helpers:

The "RDCP Log" logging application is no longer included and is a separate download. If you have been using that application you may move the files:
• RDCP Log (MacOS X)
• Log Book.fp5
• Countries.fp5
... which are contained in the "Helper Files" of your existing installation to a new folder on your hard drive. When you start RDCP+/Mac, go to the Helpers section and refind the file named "Log Book.fp5".

Other notes/bugs:

• F-Key mapping was removed for both the MacOS X and Classic versions of the Plus edition.
• Tested on MacOS X 10.1.2 through 10.5.7 with Keyspan USB Twin Serial Adapter.
• NONE of your files which work with previous 1.x of RDCP/Mac are compatable, nor are files used with development/alpha versions less than 2.0.1d16.
• Does support the KAM-XL and PSK31.
