Mr. N64's Breakdown of Quest 64's Game Elements:

Graphics:
3 out of 5: Quest 64's graphics are so-so. Some of the castle interiors look nice, but overall the graphics aren't too varied and they're very cartoony. The camera is often so close that it seems like you can only see a few feet in front of your character. The enemies are unimpressive and the same few types keep appearing.

Music:

3 out of 5: Quest 64's music is no CD quality orchestral soundtrack, but it's clearly trying to be one. Some of the music is pretty good, but I kept the volume a little low.

Sound FX:

3 out of 5: Whatever you do, be sure to turn off the text sound on the game's pause menu. That sound will drive most anyone nuts. Other than that, the sounds are ok.

Play Control:

3 out of 10: There aren't any decent camera controls, and this can be very annoying considering the close-up view the game presents to the player while navigating the different areas. After a battle, it's very easy to get turned around and backtrack without knowing it. Evasive battle maneuvers are difficult to pull off.

Frustration Factor:

8 out of 10 (10 being the worst): Boredom will likely be your biggest frustration with Quest 64. It just didn't hold my interest long at all. The battles are annoying, and the lack of story made everything seem pointless.
