• November 7, 2004 — Good news for oekaki fans! Due to bandwidth limitations, for many months OekakiCentral was only open for registration during the first week of the month. Those problems have been solved, and now OekakiCentral has resumed being open for registration all the time. Registration is free, as it has always been. If you're interested in drawing online with a great group of people, come join us. If you're curious as to what "oekaki" is, drop in and visit.

• January 10, 2004 — First update of the new year! After over a year, the third chapter of Familiar Strangers is up, on the Fiction page. • December 31, 2003 — Finally, a new site design. Additionally, the site has been completely revamped under the covers. I've been working with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for some time, but now have learned even more about the technology. This, thanks to the CSS Zen Garden.

• December 21, 2002—Since I needed a proof of concept for the utility of my recent W3C-compliant re-coding, I decided to try a seasonal re-vamp of the site. And it was easy! The most complex activity was coming up with the new look itself. The re-coding was very straightforward, as it should be. We reached 3500 visitors on 2002/12/21.
• December 14, 2002—You probably can't tell, but this site has been completely revamped under the covers. These pages are now XHTML 1.0-compliant and use CSS 2, as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium. I'm getting closer to my goal of having my pages look as nice on the "inside" as on the outside. And some links have been added to the Fiction page.
• November 30, 2002—Some new artwork posted, on the Artwork page and on the Legion of the Rose page. We reached 3000 visitors on November 27. Keep on coming back, y'all.
• November 12, 2002—I've redesigned the Fiction section yet again! But I think this layout will be easier to use. We reached 2500 visitors on November 2. Thanks for the hits, everyone.
• October 25, 2002—More new artwork. Take a peek at the Artwork page, and my pages at the LegionFiction Gallery and at Yerf. We reached 2000 visitors on October 10. Keep on coming back!
• October 8, 2002—A bunch of new artwork! Mostly Oekaki, check out the Artwork and Utena pages, and my page at Yerf. And we hit 1500 visitors on September 17. Thanks, everyone.
• August 31, 2002—After almost a month of real-life distractions, an update. There's some new oekaki works on the Artwork page, and an illustration has been added for Glompophilia.

Blog

I've started a blog over at Vox. The Suncat Studio Outpost will give me a place to natter about things other than the art and fiction posted here. Eventually this site and the blog will be cross-linked to provide an easier mechanism for you to send me feedback on my works.

And now I've started another blog at Dreamwidth, Suncat's Other Artsy Hideaway. Dreamwidth is run using the LiveJournal engine, so I'm finding it has nicer tools for styling and manipulating my content than I saw at Vox. So I'll be keeping the Vox blog open for a while, but expect to be working primarily at Dreamwidth now.
