The Modern Arvandran language, as spoken in Arvandra today, descends primarily from Old Arvandran. "Old Arvandran" or "Early Arvandran" designates the form of the language in use prior to the people settling in the current region. Regular contact with the neighboring peoples induced a noticeable shift in the language during the second century after settlement. That is the recognized transition to Modern Arvandran.
