Continental
The Continental is a displaced European breed that has never truly adapted
to movie life in the USA. While he will occasionally tolerate the puppyish
exuberance of American movies he is much more at home with the gloomy
tedium of foreign films. The Continental's dour existential disposition
equips him with the phenomenal endurance to sit through the grimmest Euro-potboilers
without a whimper. For the Continental, even Andrei Rublev is a walk in
the park.
Incompatibilities: does not interact well with the
more playful breeds.
The Pit Bull is alert and intelligent, but his fractious temperament will cause him to even growl menacingly at films he appears to like. Once he has fully accepted a movie, however, he becomes very territorial and will defend it ferociously. Pit Bull shows extreme aggression towards films he dislikes and does not tolerate challenges to his opinions. Pit Bull must be kept on a short leash because of his unfortunate tendency to snap and lunge at other hounds.
Incompatibilities: unless carefully socialized Pit Bull will exhibit aggressive behavior towards most other breeds. He is especially antagonistic towards Pariah Dog, Bon Bon and Church Shepherd.
Church Shepherd
Church Shepherd is a well-groomed, loyal, obedient, but decidedly unadventurous
breed that feels no need to explore beyond the church yard. His modest
intelligence, bland tastes and monotonous barking at the moral content
in films makes him a very poor movie companion dog. He has a strong instinct
to protect the flock and will constantly attempt to separate the innocent
young from unwholesome films. Church Shepherd doesn't mix well with
most other Movie Hounds, preferring instead to congregate with his own
kind. Foreign variants of the breed, such as the Hebrew Shepherd and the
Muslim Shepherd, are often very antagonistic to one another.
Incompatibilities: most other hounds are highly
annoyed by Church ShepherdÍs moral pontifications.
