Life Link III's medical practice is under the medical direction of R.J. Frascone, MD and Co-medical Directors Wm. Heegaard, MD and Greg Pippert, MD. Dr. Frascone is the Director of Regions Hospital Emergency Medical Services and a staff physician in the Emergency Department at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota; a Level I Trauma Center. Dr. Heegaard is a staff physician in the Emergency Department at Hennepin County Medical Center; a Level I Trauma Center. Dr. Pippert practices at St. Cloud Hospital, part of the CentraCare Health System, as a member of Central Minnesota Emergency Physicians.

Along with Regions Hospital Emergency Medical Services and the Life Link III Medical Advisory Committee, medical direction uses the combined strengths and technological resources of six major medical centers. Life Link III has full-time, dedicated quality improvement professionals and provides its own training staff.
