Pirate's Log Book

Adventures at Sea

November 07, 2004

It was a long, hellish day, sailing the air from my hometown port to the rolling amber waves of Minnesota. I met my new crew and thought they were pretty nice, for pirates. They didn't mind sharing their booty (contained in a wicker treasure chest), their gruel or their grog. After the long voyage, I sure needed that grog.

The ship Captain seems pretty nice. She's been showing me the ropes. I got my first assignment last night and proudly killed the Mysterious Rabid Sea Snail of the Midwestern Ocean.

I was a very good sailor yesterday, so I'm not sure why I was tossed into the brig overnight. They only let me out to relieve myself. I decided that it wasn't worth fussing over it - besides, it had been a long day, and the mat was quite comfortable.

Looks like calm seas and smooth sailing today. The Captain said I was to go to shore with an away party today - the mysterious island of PetSmart calls us to plunder and secure a long lost treasure for the Captain's First Officer - something called a citronella collar. Bet it's diamond studded or something.

Anyway - I'd better close this diary now... There are decks to swab, people to chew on, and a toller o' nine tails who will whip me into shape if I step o'er the line.

Arrrrrrr.
