My fascination with the Old West began with the horses I'd read about in books or saw in old movies. The work day variety, "head 'em up, move 'em out!" or "giddy-up, Trigger, let's get them bad guys!" Horses were the heart of the Old West. Once you've witnessed the flight of a herd of sturdy wild mustangs, or ridden a snorting bronc, you'll understand what the excitement of the western horse is all about.
