Notes:
This is a spectacular piece. We found the top in Minneapolis and the base came from Connecticut.

The celery is also found crystal.

Notes:
Covered compotes have smooth rims. The top on the medium ruby stained compote shown is crystal. We have seen a larger covered compote.

Small Cream - Sugar Creamer & Sugar (Toothpick)

Notes:
The minature sugar is the toothpick holder. When we found the small creamer, we thought we'd discovered a piece from a child's set. Thanks to Joan Winn for setting us straight. The toothpick is also found as ruby stained. (The ruby stained toothpicks we have are 1/8" taller than our crystal toothpicks as described on the About Scalloped Swirl page.)

The circular base has two variations, one has a depressed 'boss', the 'boss' is absent on the other style. See the About Scalloped Swirl page for more details.

Nickel plated cover is embossed with a 'scallop' pattern.

This example is a ruby stained 1893 Worlds Fair souvenir.
Tumblers are also found in crystal, etched crystal, and solid ruby stained.
