The Car features high detail for its size. On the exterior body lines and details are there, the trunk opens, on the base front and rear wheels turn and "Kaiser" is stamped in front of the rear bumper. The interior has a steering wheel and front and rear seats. This car was given to me by my grandfather when I was approximately 5 years old (1965). The Kaiser Darrin was released as both a model kit and several versions of a Japanese Pressed Tin Toy | Premier Models Released a "Crude Darrin Kit during the Mid to the late 50's. This Kit has been found in White, Yellow and Green. It is likely that other colors do exist. Japanese Tin Darrins exist in two sizes appoximatly 1:32 and 1:24. Pictured are the 1:32 examples have two verisions. Left shows a Blue top Up version with a red top up. This version also has been found with a red body with a black top. Top Up versions feature a on off switch with positionalble wheels, Top down versions of this car have been found in yellow, green and red.
